Arkansas is blessed with public hunting opportunities that provide some of the best duck hunting in the world. If you like to do it yourself, consider some of the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission Wildlife Management Areas (WMA) or the National Wildlife Refuges (NWR) located in our state.
Everyone has probably heard of Bayou Meto located just outside Stuttgart, but there are others that can provide great hunting when the conditions are right. Make sure to check with the local office to ensure there is plenty of water and that ducks are in the area. This will save you a lot of headaches if you plan your hunt in advance. Also make sure to get maps of the area and a compass, even experienced hunters can get lost in these areas.
